Pastor Oscar Update 04/19/21

Please pray for Pastor Oscar, his family, and their church.

He serves Iglesia Cristiana Alpha and Omega - the church that we are partnering with to reach our neighbors in Charlotte's Southend.   

In March, Oscar was hospitalized (ICU) fighting pneumonia due to COVID-19.  He is currently still hospitalized but slowly recovering.

UPDATE FROM HIS DAUGHTER (Katherine) ON APRIL 15

My father was transfered to a different hospital - to a step down from ICU,

He still needs special care since he has the ventilator and needs constant traquea cleaning.  Also here there is PT and OT that can work with him to restore his mobility!

We are constantly praying for his recovery, and God’s will in his life and ours.  We appreciate all the love, prayers and care towards our family, thank you.

UPDATE FROM HIS DAUGHTER ON APRIL 6

"He just had the peg placed today, which the procedure went great, he is awake and alert, if you ask questions he answers. The entire hospital staff is watching over, and is praying for him!

Today one of the respiratory therapists came in and told me to tell my father that he knows that miracles happen, and now he sees that my father is a miracle given by God and that during this entire year he is the 1st to recover."
